“Take Me Home” by Jess Glynne (music video with lyrics)

This song was originally posted on my good friend Brenda’s blog. She is a beautiful person with a loving and beautiful heart and soul. Please check out her blog called Grief Poetry. It is an absolutely beautiful and powerful blog full of deep emotions, feelings, love and grief at the same time.

I loved this song. I am very in touch with these feelings and emotions… I have been there many times before. Grief, deep sorrow and pain reach and touch places that the lucky ones dare not go and have never been before. That pain touches your heart and soul and places we didn’t know even exist, but they do.

I love the deep and powerful emotions in this song. I love words and music that touch my heart and soul and make me feel… and I felt this one. It touched my heart and soul and I could relate to it very well.

Thank you for reading and then watching and listening to this beautiful music video. I hope you enjoy this music video and lyrics as much as I do. Let it touch your heart, spirit and soul.

Feel God’s powerful love. He is always with us holding our hands and catching each one of our tears as they fall. He is also there smiling with us when we are happy and life is treating us well.

Love, hugs and many blessings, Sue

Grief Poetry

Wrapped up, so consumed by all this hurt
If you ask me, don’t know where to start
Anger, love, confusion
Roads that go nowhere
I know that somewhere better
‘Cause you always take me there

Came to you with a broken faith
Gave me more than a hand to hold
Caught before I hit the ground
Tell me I’m safe, you’ve got me now

Would you take the wheel
If I lose control?
If I’m lying here
Will you take me home?

Could you take care of a broken soul?
Will you hold me now?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?
Oh, will you take me home?

Hold the gun to my head, count 1, 2, 3
If it helps me walk away then it’s what I need
Every minute gets easier
