For years I was too busy surviving the pain of mental illness to fully experience the beauty of living.
For years I was too busy fighting between thoughts of wanting to die and survive at the same time to experience the beauty of living.
For many months, I was too busy wanting to die to experience the beauty of living.
Later, I began writing and became too busy writing to remember I wanted to die.
Soon, writing became therapeutic for me and helped me cope with the pain and loss caused from mental illness.
For a while, I was too busy writing to experience the beauty of living.
Then I was too busy enjoying the beauty of living to write.
Now, I found the balance of therapeutic writing and enjoying the beauty of living.
Find your thing… whatever it may be.
It doesn’t matter what your thing is as long as it distracts from the pain of mental illness and helps you cope.
Next, find the thing that gives you hope.
It doesn’t matter what the thing is as long as it gives you hope and keeps you fighting to survive.
Lastly, find your balance.
It doesn’t matter what your balance is as long as it gives you peace of mind and allows you…
to enjoy the beauty of living.
Four Simplified Steps for Recovery and Mental Wellness
- Find your thing.
- Find your hope.
- Find your balance.
- Enjoy the beauty of living.
Keep working hard. Keep fighting. Keep keeping on. Enjoy the journey. You can do it.
Carry on bravely.
Much love always,
Sue OXOX…

Hahaha…. ah yes. I could add repeat… It is a continuous process…. Thanks for the read and comment. I appreciate it as always. I’m trying to write again and I need to now find the time to read other blogs again like I used to many moons ago…. Have a fabulous day.
