Question: How do you talk to someone with bipolar disorder or any other mental illness?
Answer: The same as everyone else — with kindness, love, compassion and understanding.
Yep. There is no difference. Nothing to fear. It is simple. Be comfortable. Have fun. Notice how people with mental illness are the same as everyone else.
I am sure of the fact that you have talked with many, many people with mental illness and you never knew it. There are no stereotypical looks or mannerisms.
We blend in with the masses because we are the masses. That’s right. We are 1 in 4 of the population.
Having a mental illness is not a disability. It is a different ability.
Different is good. Different stands out. Be different and make a difference.
Use your difference to make a difference and…
one day your difference won’t be different at all.
