One-sided Conversations
When you isolate as much as I do,
your thoughts become one-sided conversations
inside your mind.
Writing is a one-sided conversation using visual words
for others to see the thoughts inside your mind.
Poetry is a one-sided conversation using visual words
to express feelings and emotions.
Music is a one-sided conversation
using combinations of rhythms and melodies,
instruments and voices singing words
to emote emotions for others to hear.
Art, painting, drawing and sculpting
are one-sided conversations using colors and shapes
to express thoughts, feelings and emotions
without words.

Thank you Susan, this post sums up precisely how I’m currently feeling. Alone, despite living with 2 other people.

Thank you for reading my post and for commenting. I appreciate it greatly. I am so sorry it took me so long to respond back. I am sorry you are feeling alone and lonely. I hope that it gets better soon. Sometimes when I feel better I love being alone and sometimes I hate it. Sometimes it is my depression that makes me feel more lonely. Please know that you are never alone. I will always be here for you if you ever want to talk. You can email me. You are never alone, but I know the feeling all too well as you have noticed from my recent writing. I am feeling better right now and I hope you are too or will very soon. I am sorry you are feeling lonely right now. It is an awful and painful feeling. Just know you are valuable and important and you are loved always. Love and hugs, Sue
