“Understand that you own nothing, everything that surrounds you is temporary, only the love in your heart will last forever.” ~unknown
Life on earth is very temporary,
only a very small flicker of time
compared to eternal life in heaven.
Everything is temporary.
Nothing is permanent.
Enjoy everything in life,
each moment in time,
as it will soon fade and be gone forever.
Take nothing for granted
as it can change in a heartbeat
when you least expect it.
We are temporary
Life is temporary.
“Your circumstances are temporary, but your character will last forever.” ~Rick Warren
Each stage of our lives is temporary.
Nothing is permanent,
as each second of our day
is continually changing,
internally and externally
physically and mentally,
everything is changing,
growing and shrinking,
increasing and decreasing.
We have changed from an infant to an adult,
and keep aging with each passing day.
The clock of life keeps ticking
and cannot and will not stop.
Our skin becomes older
continually changing,
creating wrinkles
and age spots.
Our hair changes,
graying in color,
or hair thinning for some,
some balding for others until there is no hair left.
Our external appearance does not matter.
“Beauty is being the best version of yourself inside and out.” ~unknown
We cannot remain perfect.
Perfection is not real.
“Youth and beauty are not accomplishments. They are the temporary happy byproducts of time and/or DNA. Don’t hold your breath for either. ~ Carrie Fisher
Flaws are beautiful.
Internally we are always changing,
growing in knowledge and intellect,
learning and improving,
as we learn newness each second of the day,
improving who we are,
increasing our love, relationship and closeness with God.
Growing closer to Him,
as we learn more about what life is truly about.
Our external beauty is not important
and will soon leave us.
Our internal beauty is what is most important.
Internally we create our external beauty
that shines out from the inside
of our hearts and souls,
making us become more beautiful with each passing day.
Nothing is permanent.
Everything is temporary.
“There is comfort in knowing everything is temporary” ~unknown

This seems very close to my Buddhist understanding of impermanence.
