Am I Brave to Share My Story living With Bipolar Disorder?

Many people tell me I am brave for sharing my story. I understand why they say that and I am very thankful and appreciate their very kind words.

If people say I am brave to share my story than somehow does that mean I am different?

Does it mean that I am brave to share my story because my story is awful?

I don’t think I am brave at all and my story is not awful.

God wrote my story, so it cannot be awful. He wrote my story the way it has been written for a reason. The story of my life is what God wrote and it is His plan for me and my life.

I am sharing who I am.

I am sharing who and how God made me.

I am sharing my story and my journey of living with bipolar disorder.

It is easy for me to share my story now because I have accepted my bipolar disorder and who I am and who I have become.

I am not ashamed that I have bipolar disorder.

I am not ashamed of my story or my journey of living with bipolar disorder.

I am not ashamed of my life.

I am not ashamed of myself.

Bipolar disorder is not who I am but is just a piece of who I am.

I am lovingly sharing a piece of myself with you.

Each part of my story I share with you is like a piece of a larger puzzle that creates the puzzle of my story, journey and my life.

My large and beautiful puzzle of my life on earth will never be completed until it is my time to leave this earth and live my life in paradise with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for all eternity.

I plan on living many more years of my life here on earth.

The addition of each unique puzzle piece of my life continues to fit together perfectly creating a wonderful, interesting and fabulous story and journey of my puzzle of life.

I usually complete the outer edges of a puzzle first.

However, my puzzle is not complete yet so my edges are not enclosed but are left open so the story of my picture puzzle of my life can continue to grow larger and more uniquely beautiful.

My life is not a puzzle to solve, but a puzzle to enjoy, experience, share, admire, love and be encouraged, inspired and learn from.

God made me who I am. God spoke to me and told me I needed to share my story. When God speaks to us we must obey Him.

I am sharing God’s story of who I am and who He made me to be and become.

God made and planned each and everyone of my beautiful puzzle pieces of my life to fit together perfectly to create me and my beautiful, precious, masterpiece puzzle of my life.

My puzzle of life is still growing and transforming into a beautiful new puzzle of life everyday.
