I am made up of many multi-colored depths, textures and aged layers of paint all combined and blended together over many years making me the uniquely beautiful person I am today. My first layer of myself began with a base coat of paint which started my creation and my life.
Painters began painting over my base coat one layer at a time gradually adding layers of more and more paint creating a thick and aged masterpiece of paint with each layer having a different lesson, story and journey of my life .
Sometimes layers of graffiti murals were spray painted with messages of kindness and compassion making the layers very brilliant, beautiful, helpful and inspirational for everyone to see and learn from.
Some damaged and bad paint had been brushed over beautiful layers of myself covering and hiding the goodness that was once there.Years later the bad layers were slowly and carefully scraped, scratched and scuffed away from the good smooth layers as much as possible.
Unfortunately, all of the badness, mistakes and cracks could not be removed but have been modified and partially covered with some beautiful new layers of paint.
My first and beginning layers of paint will always be a part of me and who I am but are buried deep within me and have aged extensively, chipped, bubbled and peeled away with only remnants of those layers still deep within myself.
Chipped paint continues to crumble off piece by piece, but the variation of sizes and depths of holes of chipped paint helps make and design the uniqueness of who I am today.
Brush strokes of beautiful paint are continuously being painted and covering my many interesting, broken, scarred, chipped. peeled, unique and aged paint layers of myself.
All of these many uniquely beautiful paint layers of my story, struggles and journey of my life began with just one small layer of base coat of paint, which was my base coat of life.
